√ Even though the purpose to this community is to have fun, there have to be a set of rules. So, my friends, here they are. If any one breaks these rules, the mods can, and will, kick you out. Also, keep in mind, that the mods have the right to remove you if they feel you are holding the the story line back. Hey, this may possibly make us sound strict, but it's also what makes us successful and that's what every game strives for, isn't it? We're really not big bad mods. But? RESPECT OUR AUTHORIT-AY! Onto the rules below.
001. ( We plan on keeping this community active. This means, you MUST post at least three times a week. This includes replying, of course. Keep in mind that you can do as many as you want, as long as it's above three. On the other hand, we understand that things happen. If you have to be gone for a week, or something along those lines, please tell us ahead of time. We'll understand! )
002. ( We will absolutely NOT tolerate the harassment of other members. If you have a problem with someone, come to the mods. If any racial, religious, or any other kinds of derogatory terms are used to insult another player, we will kick you out immediately. No questions. We are all here to have fun. Not to argue, bash, or hurt any one else. )
003. ( Number two goes hand in hand with this. Just because you don't like someone, doesn't mean that your character doesn't. Likewise, if you like someone, it doesn't mean your character does. Canon, people! )
004. ( Please, be mature. There will be mature elements in this game. We don't really care how old you are, as long as you can be mature. There will be adult situations. Anything dealing with sexual situations will be put behind a GJ cut. But still, we ask that if you can't handle language, or violence, please don't join. This IS the Buffy and Angelverse after all. Violence is a given. )
005. ( If there is a scene that contains sexual content, please put it behind a lj-cut, with a warning. This also pertains to sessions that take place over AIM. This is to show respect for other players. )
006. ( No god-modding. This means, if your character gets into a fight, you must be realistic. They can't catch every punch, kick, and swing. Also, I find it annoying to have to type " She ATTEMPTED ... " The hits are understood that they're attempted. )
007. ( There will be no personal journal entries made. This means, the only posts will be those in the community. For example, I'm using theblondeslayer. I use this for multiple story lines. BUT! Since we don't do personal entries, it won't matter. )
008. ( You MUST have seen a good number of the episodes. And if you've missed a season, we advise you go back and look at a transcript. You must have a pretty damn good grasp on your character, and, in doing so, stay true to she or he. )
009. ( In regards to made up characters? We're strict. VERY strict. We don't want to see a potential who has wicca powers, who's stronger than Willow, and can be traced back to relation to Buffy as a third cousin. We'd much rather see unique characters. Those with a past. We want more than a naked play by, whose purpose is to try and have sex with all of our characters. So, if your character doesn't get accepted? Don't fret. We're just picky. )
010. ( No killing off characters without the mun's, and the mod's consent. )
011. ( You MUST have character icons. It's not hard to find them, and, in fact, we've taken the liberty to link to livejournal icon communities for you to consult. buffy_icons, btvs_icons, and ats_icons via LJ are generally updated every day. )
012. ( You MUST reply to a thread within the course of three days. The ONLY exception is if you tell us you're going to be gone, or won't be able to post. )
